Step 2: Add the Center Point
Pick a point slightly left of the center inside the heart.
This point will be the “sunburst” center.
Step 3: Create Radiating Lines Inside the Heart
From the center point, draw straight lines out to the edges of the heart.
Space the lines evenly so the heart looks divided into triangle-like sections.
This creates the stained-glass / sunburst effect.
Step 4: Extend Lines Outside the Heart
Continue drawing those same lines outside the heart all the way to the edges of the paper.
Now the background is divided into big geometric sections too.
Step 5: Outline (Optional but Recommended)
Trace all lines and the heart shape with a black marker.
This makes the colors pop and keeps sections clear.
Step 6: Color the Heart (Warm Colors)
Inside the heart, alternate colors:
Yellow
Orange
Press firmly with crayons or oil pastels to get a rich texture.
💡 Tip: Don’t blend — keep each section bold and separate.
Step 7: Color the Background (Cool Colors)
Color the background sections using:
Purple
Blue
Alternate colors just like inside the heart.
Step 8: Add Texture
Use small circular strokes or uneven pressure to get that soft, grainy look.
If using crayons, layering colors lightly adds depth.
Step 9: Final Touches
Erase visible pencil marks.
Darken outlines if needed.
Step back and admire that stained-glass glow ✨
