UNIT 4: WE PRESERVE ECOSYSTEMS - NATURAL SCIENCES 3 PRIMARY (PROYECTO WORLD MAKERS SANTILLANA).

PAGE 62-63:
We comment the photos of the pages 62 and 63 and answer question such as if you know some of those ecosystems and the animals and plants you see answering questions like:
- What animals can you see?
- Where do they live?
- What do these animals eat?
- and so on...
PAGES 64:
A ecosystem have three components: livings things that live in it, the physical environment where that live in it, and the relationships between them.
A ecosystem can be organized into the following levels: organism, specie, population and community.

PÁGINA 65.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT.
It is made up of all the non-livings components, like climate, soil, water...
There are two types of physical environments:
- Terrestrial ecosystems on land and
- Aquatic ecosystems in water.

PÁGINA 66:
All the living things need to find food. Some living things feed on other living things.
According to how they obtain food, living things are producers or consumers.

PAGE 67: Food chains are used to show how living things feed on other livind things.

PAGES 68 AND 69 : OTHER RELATIONSHIPS IN ECOSYSTEMS.

PAGES 70 AND 71: MAIN TYPES OF ECOSYSTEMS.
